ALOE VERA ... THE MIRACLE OF NATURE

Paracelsus,
the Father of Pharmacology said...
"All that mankind needs for
good health and healing
is provided in nature...
the challenge of science is to find it!"
Hippocrates, father of medicine called it "Athanasia" which means immortality, and refered to it as the "mobile pharmacy." It is said that Alexander the Great fought wars to obtain it and it was always with him in battle.
For centuries, Aloe Vera has been used by many different cultures. The ancient Greeks, the Romans, the Babylonians, Indians and the Chinese have all used Aloe Vera as a medicinal plant. Throughout the years, Aloe Vera (Aloinae) has been called many things: Potted Physician, Wand of Heaven, Wonder Plant, Heaven's Blessing, and Plant of Life.
My feeling ... if it was good enough for the ancient elders ... it's good enough for me and my family.
I am a simple person with no 'claim to fame.' If you're interested in more detailed research, etc., etc., my favorite site (not connected to any particular company) will tell you all the benefits of aloe vera and everything and anything you ever wanted to know about the plant and its miraculous properties.
The three-year-old version of the benefits of Aloe Vera is simply that it takes the toxins out of our system, cleanses the intestinal track, and gives our system all the vitamins and minerals it needs to boost our immune system so that it can fight 'intruders'!
My question is, even though we 'eat' good ... is what we're 'eating' good? If all it takes to be healthy and prevent disease is 2-4 ounces of this Miracle of Nature ... why not drink it?
They say the 'proof is in the pudding.' I have been using this product for 3 years, and have said 'goodbye' to all the little things that were wrong with me. No more skin allergies ... no more sinus infections ... no more stomach aches, no more back problems ... no more aching joints ... no more creaking knees and best of all no more prescription drugs! Instead of antibiotics, when I feel like I'm 'getting something' I double up on vitamins (particularly Vitamin C) ... take Propolis tablets (natural antibiotic from bees), Echinacea (natural immune system booster) and within 48-hours I am as good as new!
Those of us women who have husbands and children wear several 'hats.' We are wives, mothers, accountants, psychologists, nutritionists, doctors and nurses to name a few. It is our responsibility to keep our families healthy (or at least try). As the 'nutritionist' I buy organic, as the 'doctor' (of preventative medicine) I choose to give my family Aloe Vera juice and vitamins. Now, when one of them is feeling under the weather, they say, "Mom, fix me a brew" and within 48 hours they're back on their feet!
If there was a chance that these products would work for you and your family like they do for me and my family would you want to try them? If your answer is yes, contact me for more information.

MY STORY

(Mini Series Version):

I fondly consider myself a 26-year-old woman trapped in a 56-year-old body (which means I am actually 56 years old). Although in relatively good health, since my early twenties I have been plagued with "things" ... skin and respiratory allergies, chronic sinus infections, and stomach disorders head the list. After years of doctors and prescription drugs (which I generally was allergic to as well), in December of 1995 I found Dr. Edward Garzbach, a doctor of holistic medicine, who started me on my 'holistic' way of living. I was under his care for a year when my husband decided he wanted to move back to his homeland (Greece) where we have lived for the last ten years.

Greece was medical doctors, prescription drugs, personal care products with chemical preservatives, and for the next seven-and-a-half years my sister was shipping supplements and natural personal care items to Greece for me.

Then, when I hit my 50's new 'things' began to appear. Aching joints, back pain, knee creaking’s, etc., etc. Well, I can tell you that the 26-year-old was really disgusted with this 50+-year-old body!

One day, about three years ago my husband walked in with a bottle of Aloe Vera Gel and announced that 'we' would start drinking it. I thought to myself, unless he has a 'mouse' in his pocket, I don't know who the 'we' is 'cause I certainly am not going to drink the stuff! I told him that he was crazy ... I had enough problems and I certainly did not need to add one more 'cause of allergies' to my list!

A couple of months later, a friend of mine, Angela, came over for coffee. She saw the bottle of Aloe on the counter and was so excited ... asked if I drank it ... I said 'no' ... my husband does ... and she proceeded to tell me that she suffered from migraines, circulatory problems, etc., etc., and that the juice had been a ‘God send' for her.

Still a disbeliever, I still wouldn't drink it. I had another friend, Eva, though, who suffered from migraines. So, I packed up the literature I had, sent it to her and told her what Angela had told me. A few months went by and my husband and I met Eva and her husband for dinner. Eva thanked me for the literature, told me she had contacted the rep and purchased the Aloe Vera Gel and 'no more migraines.' Said she felt great, had not had as much as a headache since drinking the juice and had more energy than ever (this woman has four kids and a Greek husband so you can imagine her need for energy!)

Needless to say, as soon as we returned home from dinner, I jumped on the internet and did a search on "Aloe Vera." I was awake all night reading everything I could find on Aloe Vera! My favorite site today is Aloe Vera Benefits . Although I was still a bit sceptical, the next morning I started drinking the juice, contacted the rep, and made an appointment to find out more about the company, products, etc.

After meeting with the rep I was the happiest woman on the planet. The company was Forever Living Products, and their products were distributed through Network Marketing (my second love in the world ... I loved the philosophy of Network Marketing, had looked into several NM companies that were in Greece, and had yet to find a company that was a good 'fit' for me). I ordered the entire 'start up package (they also have personal care products, bee products, skin care products and I think they're the only company on the planet who have 'make-up' that is Aloe Vera based). I began drinking their product called "Freedom" which is for joints, bones and knees in general.

Within a month, I felt like a new person! Joint, back, knees were all working properly and I felt better than I had in years! For what seems like my entire life, I would be on my back in bed for at least 10 days twice a year (spring and fall) with a chronic sinus infection and it would take at least six weeks to fully recuperate. Two years later, no more sinus infections!

The 26-year-old is soooo happy!

FLP offers seminars on health and nutrition and the speaker in Greece is, George Konteas, a Doctor of Alternative Medicine and Clinical Nutritionist. He speaks twice a month in Greece. I began following his seminars and have become a missionary of Aloe Vera in Greece (and am now on my way to enlightening my USA friends).

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but what if it does? What if it works for you the way it did for me? Would you want to try it then? In fact, I liked the product so much I decided to become an independent distributor and make it available to other people like me. So, what do you think? Would you like to try this out to see if it works for you?

NM/MLM -- WHAT IS IT, REALLY?

Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. said, "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains it's original dimensions."

That quote explains what happens to people who are members of the world of NM. Once that 'magical' click occurs and a person understands the magnitude of the earning potential this business has, and the time freedom it offers, it's hard to turn back to the Forty Year Plan ... work 40 hours a week for 40 years to get 40% of what wasn't enough to begin with ... philosophy.

The answer to 'what is NM' has several responses and the answer can even become a question. What do you want it to be? Just buying some quality products wholesale? A little extra spending money? For most women in NM it is an opportunity to be a 'stay at home mom' and still generate an income (a friend of mine calls it a 'work in your pj's' job). Then, there are those really dynamic 'go getters' who will change a marketing opportunity from a limited, unexciting income to an explosive career with unlimited income potential by duplicating themselves through others. Those are the people who will exert the energy to do what it takes to make the 'gangster money'! If you are one of those people who are successful, then your income becomes a risidual income that will be inherited by the next two generations ... won't your children and grandchildren love you!

NM companies and traditional sales companies only differ in one way. They both have a CEO, President, Vice Presidents and Employees. The difference lies in how they distribute products. Traditional sales companies have a team of salespeople and spend millions of dollars in advertising. NM companies allow ordinary people to distribute their products through word-of-mouth advertising and merely distribute the monies they would have spent in advertising among the ordinary people distributing their products.

How many times have you recommended a product to a friend? How many times has a friend asked you, "hey, love your jewelry, where did you get it"? Now, imagine getting paid from the company whose products you recommend! That's NM!

The trick is to 'love your product' or service. It must be a product or service you would use even if you weren't 'getting paid' to market it. Then it's up to each individual to generate an income by attracting a few good people who want to use her/his product or service, and teaching them to do the same. The best part is that there is an upline there ready and waiting to share her/his secrets of sucess to help you be sucessful! How many of you in traditional business have a boss or person who is eager to share his 'secret of sucess' with you? In NM your upline sponsor HOPES that you will make more money than her/him ... because the more money you make ... the more money he/she makes!

As far as I'm concerned, NM companies are the ONLY REAL Equal Opportunity Employers. Everybody 'gets' the job ... Race, Color or Creed, Age or Sex REALLY make no difference, and only you can 'terminate' yourself! As long as you maintain the "Policies" of the respective NM company you are with, whether you're just using the products, selling a little bit of product or you're selling a lot of product, you will be considered an independent distributor for life.

You may be asking yourself ... if NM is so wonderful, then why don't more people do it, and why is there a 95% drop out rate?

Although there are probably one million+ sites out there regarding NM, I can only speak from experience because I am a 'statistic' of corporate America and should be a statistic of NM!

"My" short story version ... I worked for a multinational corporation for 20+ years in public relations, marketing and advertising. I worked 12-hour days and 6-(sometimes 7-) day weeks. In my mid 40's I received the pink slip ... cut backs were the excuse given. I was devastated. I even felt 'used.' I had given 'my life' to this company. I couldn't understand how things changed from one day to the next. One day I was expected to be there 10-12-hours a day ... then all of a sudden my job was 'surplus'? I was told, "don't take it personally, it's just business." Well ... go tell that to the mortgage company!

Shortly thereafter, I went to a NM Opportunity Presentation and saw my life being drawn on the blackboard! Work for X years ... How many employees are terminated in their 40's ... just before retirement ... yadda yadda yadda ... then little circles ... and how many millions you could make and how easy it was ... just use the products (no selling) ... how you just had to 'talk to people' ... you didn't have to 'do' anything, etc., etc., etc!

Going back to the beginning of this article, that night the 'magical click' happened for me! This was the best job on planet earth! Easy ... I didn't have to 'do' anything ... just talk to people ... everyone was going to want this product ... all I had to do was 'share' the dream ... tell them what a hugh opportunity this was! Well, it wasn't easy! The 'magical click' wasn't happening for others the way it had happened for me and I couldn't understand why! Then, my upline would say, "never talk about the products ... just draw circles and show people the opportunity"! My 'dream' was becoming a 'nightmare'!

I am an American-born woman living in Greece. I speak the language well enough to get by in conversation, but professionally, my language skills leave much to be desired! I seemed surrounded by what Kim Klaver calls 'the pukies' ... they would say things like, "you don't work so you have time ..." or "those things work in America, but they'll never work in Greece" or "It might work in Athens or Thessaloniki ... but it's not going to work in the small cities."

So, on my next trip to America, I was really excited because everybody thought "NM" works in America. I couldn't wait to start 'sharing' the opportunity with my friends. Much to my surprise, though, the same story was being told in a different way. Americans are "burned out" on NM ... might work in Greece because it's new ... it's not going to work in America! What I wanted to find was that 'magical' place where it 'would' work because everybody I talked to thought it would work somewhere else! Bottom line ... it works the same everywhere! Our job is just finding the people for whom it's the right thing for them to be doing, and that's the hard part!

I felt like I was on a see-saw ... lead with the business vs lead with the products. Then there was, buy the books ... buy the tapes ... go to the seminars ... horns blowing ... bells ringing ... people cheering ... millionaires ... mansions ... fancy cars ... it was just too much razzmatazz for me!

Frustrated ... somewhat with the system ... somewhat with the ethics of my upline ... somewhat with the whole kit and kaboodle ... I became a statistic and dropped out!

A few years later I was introduced to Forever Living Products and started using their products (details in My Story). I realized it was a NM company and once again began 'doing the business.' This company was a good fit for me because I believe in Alternative Medicine, in vitamins and supplements (although we eat good, I'm not sure that what we're eating is good). I loved their products, I loved their business philosophy, and I loved their compensation plan!

My sponsor, though, had only sold products and was clueless with regard to NM. We went out in search of the upline. Our first level upline manager was a 'heavy hitter.' We were not a good 'fit' so after two years playing his game, I was ready to throw in the towel one more time.

Instead, though, I went up to the next upline manager who actually conducted the opportunity meetings. He is a wonderful person who was a good fit for me. He is ethical and is one of the most knowledgeable, down-to-earth people I know! (How many of you in traditional business can trade in your old boss for a new one?) Still wasn't working for me! Greece is still 'leading with the business' and somehow that just did not work for me.

I began questioning myself. I loved the philosophy of NM ... I wanted to be successful ... why were others successful and I was not. I was frustrated, again! Before throwing in the towel, though, I decided to do a google search and just typed in "MLM." I could not believe my eyes! I spent the next three months reading everything I could find on NM, ordered some DVDs, CD, and books.

After sorting through all the "hype" sites, I settled in to what I consider the most informative, down-to-earth site out there! Kim Klaver's blogspot. Kim's New School of Network Marketing, her fresh new outlook on what NM REALLY is and the Network Marketing Central Community of Network Marketers from all different companies is now my 'Bible' of NM. Her article, "NM is a Woman" gave me new insight on how I can 'duplicate' the system with my own personal flare!

From Kim's daily blogs and the NMC community's comments, I am learning daily, and am now starting to make a little money (finally)!

Following are some of the things that have helped me (thank you, Kim):

I have found that NM is a business! You are in business FOR yourself but not BY yourself! NM is simple ... not to be confused with EASY! Unless you're really 'special' it takes 2-5 years of hard work to really start making the 'big bucks.'

You have to have training before you can "Just do It"! Sometimes we can get caught up in too much training and we're spending more time figuring out 'how' to do the business than actually doing it.

I have found that people in general have been conditioned to think "job security" is working for a company, and few are willing to "look outside the box."

I have found that there are more people who enjoy complaining about their current situation than there are people actually willing to do something about it.

I have found that people should be told the truth. Yes, the system works ... and it takes hard work, due diligence and, yes there are costs associated with owning your own NM business. These costs are minimal, though, in comparison to the enormous capital investments needed for starting up your own traditional business and the rewards, should you be successful, far greater.

I have found that although anyone can (= able) do this business, only a few will.

I have found that people would rather do business with people they know, like and trust rather than companies.

I have found that by just 'telling my story' and positioning myself as a leader by example, more people are willing to follow than when I promise the 'dream' and try to drag them over the finish line.

I have found that more people are receptive to making an extra $300 to $500 a month than becoming financially independent.

I have found that every day, I find something new and exciting from NM.

Taken from "Your First Year in Network Marketing" by Mark and Renee Yarnell:
Traditional Business = the "Rat Race" = Pursuing rotten grain in a hopeful pursuit to eat enough to see one more day.
--When traditional corporations explode, people assume the posture of rats and take to the streets.
--When NM corporations experience explosive growth, thousands of people go home and soar like eagles.
Your Choice = A frenzied dash among rodents or a joyous flight among eagles.

In NM time freedom is directly commensurate with wealth and prosperity. There is no need for stress -- NM distributors are caring, sharing, giving and excited people who are seeking success, peace and freedom.

They choose the Four Year Plan:
--Work diligently for one NM company for four years, build an income based on the honest movement of products, and you're set for life, and so are your heirs! Every person's NM business is fully inheritable.
Over the Forty-Year Plan:
-- Work 40 hours a week ... 40 years ... to receive 40% of what wasn't enough to begin with.
--Out of a typical 100 people, 5 are still working, 36 are dead, 54 are dead-broke (or at least earning far less than when they were employed), 4 are well off and 1 person is wealthy.

Which do you choose, the Four-Year Plan ... or ... the Forty-Year Plan?

I choose the Four-Year Plan and now I love my boss because she's me!

I market Aloe Vera juice, vitamins, supplements, bee products, and personal care products and cosmetics with Aloe Vera. If you would like to try these products, or if you would like to make a little extra spending money or if you think you have what it takes to be successful in this business and would like more information, contact me and I will be happy to "Help You Get There"!

NOT ALL NM/MLM COMPANIES ARE CREATED EQUAL

Generally, people spend more time reading consumer report magazines to buy a washing machine than they do researching the MLM company they sign on with.

There is no wonder why MLM has such tremendous drop out rates. How many of you actually decided you wanted to be an MLMer, found a product you loved, then researched several companies who offered those products before making your decision?

How many of you were shown the Opportunity by a person who told you the five worst things a sponsor can tell a perspective MLMer: 1) It's easy; anyone can do it! 2) Listen, you'll make big money almost immediately in this business. 3) Everybody's gonna want this product ... it sells itself. 4) Ours is the best deal -- the best deal out there anywhere! 5) All you have to do is talk to people you know.

MLM is not easy. Everybody will not want your product. To be successful in an MLM company, It takes men and women who are visionaries. It takes hard work and extensive training. You work only on commission and you can expect tons of rejection. In the event that you are one of those special people who can weather the storm of starting up your own business in MLM and are successful, you will reap the benefits which include, travel, honour, and recognition. You will make new friends, you will have financial freedom (a risidual income inheritable by two generations) and the luxury of doing what you want, when you want and with whom you want.

Not all Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Companies are Created Equal. Following are 10 key indicators of a Great MLM

1. QUALITY PRODUCT -- Look for a company that has a proven, mainstream product line. Quality products are remembered long after gimmics and fads have faded.
2. NO PASS-UPS -- You should look for a marketing plan that rewards you for your efforts. When someone you sponsored and introduced to your MLM business excels in sales, you will be rewarded and not passed up.
3. NO DEMOTIONS -- A distributor should not be demoted due to inactivity of sales. Once you have been promoted to a certain level, you should remain at that level for life.
4. BONUSES PAID ON THE RETAIL COST OF THE PRODUCT -- Even though you only pay wholesale prices for your products, a quality company will still pay your bonuses on the retail price of the product.
5. PROVEN FINANCIAL STABILITY -- The company's sales chart should demonstrate their steady growth, sales figures, and sales history ultimately projecting their future trends.
6. AT LEAST 5 YEAR MINIMUM INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE -- A well-established MLM will make it past the crucial first 5 years with solid management, a strong business plan, motivated distributors and quality products.
7. MULTIPLE INCOME OPPORTUNITIES -- A variety of income opportunities should be offered to you, along with the advantages of working on your own schedule, either part-time or full-time, and working from home. You should enjoy multiple opportunities to earn money, such as profit sharing and earned incentive bonuses.
8. CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS -- Consumable products help you to easily build a base of loyal customers wanting to regularly purchase replacement products. An active consumer base is the key to a successful MLM and can only be built on quality consumable products.
9. EXTENSIVE SUPPORT NETWORK -- Your company should offer extensive support, from training seminars and materials, to incentives and helpful staff, at the regional, national and international levels. Remember, your success directly affects the MLM's success!
10. INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE -- A company with a multiple-year track record that is established around the world, shows growth, reliability and quality products. Most companies that venture internationally are stable and have ample industry experience.

Before signing on the dotted line, try the products. If you love the products, and they are products you would use regardless of whether or not you choose to build the business, then read your companies policies, and study the compensation plan before making your final decision.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FLP's COMPENSATION PLAN

Looking for a MLM/NM company is as important as looking for any traditional job. One of the most importnt aspects (after you have found a product that you love and would use weather or not you were building the business) is the compensation plan.

Following are the ten reasons I love Forever Living's Compensation Plan.

1. The membership application to become a wholesale customer is free, there are no yearly membership fees, you are a member for life, and all FLP sponsored seminars are free.

2. You have the option of selling retail for a 43% profit.

3. In order to receive bonus checks, and to sponsor other people in FLP, a one time investment of $250 of the products must be made. This can be achieved in two ways. a) You can purchase the combo pack or choose the products of your choice, or, b) this amount of prouducts can be purchased over a two-consecutive-month period.

4. FLP is in 115 countries, you are entitled to sponsor internationally and you receive full bonus compensation.

5. Monthly bonus is paid on the retail value of the products, i.e., if you purchase $100 of product during one month, you will be paid a bonus of 5-18% of $143.

6. Once your $250 investment has been satisfied, no minimum volume is required to receive a bonus check. You will receive your monthly commission regardless of the amount, i.e., if you purchase $50 of product, the retail value = $71,50. 5% of $71.50 = $3.57 and that amount will be deposited into your account on the 15th of the following month.

7. Bonus levels are 5% - 8% - 13% - 18% (paid on retail value of products). Once you achieve a percentage level, you stay there for life. If you move up a level during the course of the month, the new percentage applies from that day forward.

8. You have two consecutive months to achieve the next bonus level plus a three-day grace period at the end of each month to achieve the next level.

9. Once you achieve the level of “Manager” (18%) you are entitled to a bonus program whereby FLP will pay you an additional bonus of $400 to $800 per month (depending on group volume) for a major purchase … Car … House … or Private Education for your children, plus many other incentive programs.

10. Becoming a successful member of the FLP family will bring you “Health” as well as “Financial Freedom”!
